My Journey Virtual Expo will be held on

Welcome to the NSW Department of Education – My Journey Virtual Career Expo 2021.The Expo is a unique virtual opportunity for students and parents throughout NSW to interact with exhibitors through online chats receive on-site materials or resources that can be saved to a virtual backpack, which can be emailed to participants at the end of the event.

This Expo is unique in terms of supporting our students throughout the state in pursuit of careers in Vocational Education& Training.Our sponsors and exhibitors are keen to engage with students in this cyber platform to create an equally stimulating event.

This will be the largest event of its kind in the state and attracting local and national exhibitors, including leading education and training providers and some of the state’s largest employers assisting students to make informed decisions about their future.

NSW Department of Education have enlisted the services of Career Links who have been working on a Virtual platform for over 8 months to promote and deliver this event to provide an opportunity for students, our sponsors and exhibitors to engage.

My Journey Virtual Expo is an online platform, which brings together students, teachers, and parents from all over the state with potential employers and further Apprenticeship and Traineeship providers. This Expo can be accessed simply via your internet browser and does not require the attendees to physically go anywhere. Visually, the My Journey Virtual Expo resembles a dashboard with an overview of the different company booths with information on the Exhibitors.
The My Journey Virtual Expo 2021 will be held on Wednesday 28th April 2021. This is an online Event, which you can access from your computer, tablet or smartphone.
  • Students in Years 10, 11 and 12 from schools throughout NSW.
  • Career Advisers and Support Teachers.
  • Parents and guardians will also be able to logon.
TheExpo can sustain thousands of visitors at any given time.
This event is accessible to all devices with access to the internet including smartphones.
o In order to attend you need to pre-register via the Registration Link at the top of the page.
We recommend you pre-register for the event. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email confirming your attendance at the Expo.

The number and the position of the representatives depend on the individual companies. However, you can expect to meet the recruiters, current interns and as well as other younger employees who will share their experiences with you.
At the Virtual Expo, you will be able to chat online with the Exhibitors, wherein they will be able to answer all of your specific questions.
At each Exhibitor Booth, you can read the general information about the Exhibitor and click on all the icons for the relevant information on their services, watch videos and then download information to your virtual back bag.
The Exhibitors will also be able to see if you are online and they can save the chats they have had with you for future reference.
Ask many questions to the Exhibitors who are on line to chat with you. They want you to approach them, do not hold back. The Exhibitors are simply there to provide you with the information and resources that you require and are specific to your interests.
